You'll see the screen populate with all of the vertices.īottom right in the 'Layers' window right click on the Vertices layer you just created by running that EXTRACT tool. Go to VECTOR -> GEOMETRY TOOLS -> EXTRACT VERTICES (This step is to make sure you're not counting anything, other than the polylines, you may have left in the drawing.) Go to LAYER -> ADD LAYER -> ADD VECTOR LAYERĬhoose your DXF, make sure only LineString is selected and hit OK. ![]() When doing so only leave all the geometry for which you want points. Next you'll need to save your DWG as a DXF. if you don't find a lisp to your liking this should work. I just found this software package today, and it is a complicated way of doing what you want but hey. If by any chance you work in GIS you may find this interesting.
